What this site is not
It is not a finding that Christoph Heusgen committed a crime. A leaked 2009 U.S. embassy cable is not a conviction. A Simon Wiesenthal Center list is an organization’s ranking, not a court. Merkel and Israel’s then-ambassador to Germany publicly rejected that listing. Fox’s report that a camera found him in the German UNGA row in 2018 is reporting, not a confession. Tears at a farewell are not a charge. This site does not invent quotes, titles, or convictions. It does not invent friendliness to Donald Trump. The public record of this office is the EU Policy Unit / Merkel Chancellery / UN / MSC file — multilateral institutions that opposed or criticized Trump administration withdrawals and, in 2025, the Vance speech. That is the documented apparatus role. There is no U.S. prosecution in his name.
